I have a 2006 Lexus rx330, I’m wanting to install a dashcam. What ports will give me 10A-30A, need one

to provide constant power and one that will only provide power when I turn my key to ACC position.

 

Probe with a multi-meter to find constant power, but I bet OBD will work. Cig, pwer outlet, sun roof will work for ACC.

 

I have the same question. Hopefully somebody can give us an answer.

 

The answer for the most part is in post #2, or here if you want to hardwire it to the upper console which IMO is the best way in these. OBD will always have constant power, as that port receives power even when the engine is off
