Steering wheel buttons functions
Just got my '04 RX330 (no nav system) yesterday and on the right side of the steering wheel there are some buttons- two phone buttons and a little dude yelling. What are these for? I scoured the owners manual while it was in the shop all day today and those buttons weren't even in there. The only buttons on the wheel it says my car has are radio controls. Please help lol
They're the accept and end call buttons, the talking head is for voice/audio commands. Normally you'd get those if your car has Bluetooth installed (higher trims). I added them (they are pre-wired) to my friend's 07 RX when I put a head unit in his car.
Could be that someone slapped a new wheel on it from eBay to replace the worn one with one that was from a higher trim RX with NAV.

Thats a good point. Honestly other than the regular maintenance records, I have no idea what has been replaced or rewired. The volume buttons work on the wheel so they obviously hooked something up right when they did it lol I guess when I get it back tomorrow I'll go touch some buttons and see what pops up (if anything)
