Been searching on google and here for a few hours.
Daughter let her grandmother's earing slide into the defrost vent. I know I will probably have to remove some of the dash but I hope someone here can point me in the direction of some info. I know I can't be the only one to have this happen.

Maybe get a borescope for your phone. They have a light and many come with a hook to snag stuff.

 

I called the Lexus dealership about this. Service guy was helpful but not very optimistic about finding it without removing the dash. 4.5 hour job. Nope. Hoping driving around may move it over to the filter. Otherwise she may have to tell her grandmother she lost her earing...
