09RX battery draining, likely electrical damage, windows rolling down by themselves
my car seemed to be accelerating poorly for a few minutes after this discovery.
I dried the floor to the best of my ability, and convinced myself I must have left my window slightly ajar.
it rained a few times after this, and I seemed to be in the clear. Then during another storm, I checked my vehicle, no rain. I was convinced I was in the clear.
the next morning, my car was soaked AGAIN. No signs of wetness from the sunroof. My battery was also dead.
as for how the car become soaked: I saw online that the sunroof drain can become clogged, which may cause water to soak the floorboard by the brake pedal… but suddenly, with my car off, my windows began to roll down on their own. The sunroof, driver’s side window, etc.
my car has been jumped and started up after a few minutes, and dies within hours. The battery has been checked, it’s new, is fine.
I noticed that the wheel also lowers, as if the key is still in the ignition. The windows roll down when the battery is dead, the wheel is locked in place, and something seems to be draining the battery.
a possible clue; my driver’s side window was also completely wet and the mirror full of water. It’s like a ghost possessed my vehicle…
