Default 2005 rx330 issues after repairs

Hello,

I recently repaired 2005 Lexus( 100k miles) as preventive maintenance as I just had a baby and was moving out of state.

all Seemed good and was told on good shape

last 2 years had timing belt ( 4/23), alternator, spark plugs and coil after warning light , battery , and more.

However, having a couple of issues which unable to solve and would like ideas.

1) upon startup WHEN AIR CONDITIONING RUNNING. ONLY there is a very laboring noise . Doesn’t happen when AC not on. Assume something off with belt recently replaced? But not sure where to start

2) both brakes new this year and has been inspected by 2 independent shops after getting a noise when using rear brakes. It sounds like a crunch or grinding. Both said brakes good. Second place charged me tk clean them and I thought noise better but it is back. I even replaced front brakes which had a lot of wear left in the search to find the cause of this noise.

know all is speculation but considering cars behave similarity and I don’t have a trustworthy local shop, I will take all suggestions. Also I really just like understanding what is wrong mechanically and being able tj ask right questions.

thank you community!
