Replacement headlight assemblies HID
Bought some replacement headlight assemblies that didn't have the correct connections and had to return - has anyone found a good source for the assemblies with HID? Apparently there is a significant difference in the connections. I did see a pair for $1400 ~ but hoping for a better option! Thanks
There is a difference between HID and nonHID assemblies. They would not be interchangeable. [harness, connectors and additional motor etc]
The only two differences in the HIDs that I know are the hue of the glass and addition of security. The additional security just made it harder to steel (access) while the assembly did not not change.

There's plenty of HID conversion kits that work in the non-HID assemblies, if this is of interest to you. I don't have any specific suggestions as I have not changed ours.
I was considering changing ours to HID's and using a conversion kit, but then I just tried some Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's to see how well those worked, and I was impressed with how white and bright they were, so much so that I'm not going to bother upgrading to HID's - It gets the job done well enough.
Just my two cents.
