Looking to drive to CA before cruising back to NZ. Wondering whether all 2001 RX300's are/were compliant with CA smog requirements or if I'll need to add smog equipment in order to sell?
Any advice would be appreciated as Google, as per usual, is pretty useless for such queries.

I think the first Gen RX is California compliant when sold in USA. You can call local dealership/Lexus Corporate and give them your VIN. I can speak about my county [these things are down to County of registration], you have to take it to an approved station to get the vehicle inspected before it can be registered.
