Default TRAC on or off?

In normal driving conditions, do I drive with the traction on or off?

Note that AWD models don't have a TRAC-OFF switch. TRAC is required to keep the AWD system functional.

Default 2WD

I have a 2WD. But when would I use it? What's the difference between that an the ECT/SNOW button? (I know I'll never use the SNOW button here in Hawaii....)

Default ECT/SNOW

In the ECT position, the shifts take place at a highter RPM. More pickup I guess.

In the SNOW position you start in 2nd gear instead of first. This produces less
wheel slippage on slick surfaces. Not too much use where you live.
