My car jerks when shifting from drive to park in the traffic. Thus causing the check engine light to blink and my engine jerks while in park.
what could be the actual cause.

Normally with Automatic transmission, you leave the vehicle in drive. Only shift to Park once you reach the destination ... right before turning the vehicle off.


Please have your vehicle tested for Check Engine Codes with OBDII reader. If you get too many codes, clear them and check again right after you see CEL.

Flashing CEL is typically due to misfire.
