I'm getting a knock sensor code after around 10 miles of driving. I have heard knocking whilst driving up inclines around the 2000 rpm area. The code gets thrown at around this 2000 rpm area usually whilst cruising hwy 45/55 mph on/off the gas.
I've slowly been replacing worn/tired vacuum hoses and today I replaced the plugs. The first image is the back 3 (left to right) and the second is the front 3. In particular both the left plugs (closest to the belts) show signs of excess heat and running too lean (in my opinion). I have just filled up with premium and put some Techron fuel system cleaner in.
I'd appreciate any help in determining what to do next to try to remedy the problem or any opinions on the condition of the plugs which were 7 years old & had 60k on them.
Many thanks, Mark.
