I want to install fog lights on my 99 RX 300 were is good place to get power so is only on when ignition is turned?

 

I thought fog lights were standard on RX.

Aux power is switched. One can tap off the cigrarette lighter.

Proper (legal in many states) wiring of the fog lamps, requires that on high beam, the fog lamps must turn off)

True, 3 states I've lived in require extra fogs to turn off when highs are on. Something like " a max of 4 head lamps can be on at any one time". Anyway, the important info here is that this will be checked in many state inspections and your vehicle will fail if they don't turn off.
