Question Clear Sidemarker Installation

Ok, I've looked through the archives but I still can't find this information.

I just purchased some clear sidemarkers (front) for my '01 RX and I can't figure out how to install them.

Any tips?

From whaqt I understand, one has to take apart the inner fender well and maybe some other cawling pieces - haven't done the fronts. The rear ones aren't too bad, but some dissambly is required there too.

i cant find the posts either but others and I have posted info on how to do this before...

you need to bend back the wheel wells to get behind the bumber by the lights. theres no need to remove the entire thing. it helps if you have someone hold the wheel wells back while you stick one arm in and unscreww the nut.

you can use a mini socket wrentch to unscrew the nut from the stock side marker if its too tight. then use your fingers to unscrew the nut and washer. be careful not to drop it because its really annoying trying to get it out of the bumper. i believe the passenger side is the hardest due to a resevoir tank near the marker. if you have small forearms its easier. be prepared to get frustrated and bruised.

before you screw everything on tight make sure you test the bulb out. if you baught the side markers from autobacs (like i did) the stock bulbs dont fit quite well. the connectors are too small or something. so you need to do some adjustments to prevent it from popping the bulb after a while.

the fronts are rather easy. the rears take more work but it doenst seem like you are looking for info on that. if you need it pm me.
