Default Beeping alarm while driving and brakes locked up

I'm a bit worried. I was driving in to work today and while on the freeway and making a slight left bend with the road, my car suddenly started slowing down. It was like the engine lost power. The brakes seemed to have locked up and the anti lock brakes were pulsating. I didn't slam on the brakes at all. I don't even think I touched the brakes. There was a quick beeping noise and what I assumed to be some sort of skid control light indicator briefly lit up on the dash (not the VSC). It looked like a car with a windy road under it.

I was on the freeway and it was a slow left curve to to the road while going 65 mph. I could have gotten in an accident it felt like but I was okay.

Any tips on what might have happened and how I can fix it?

Doesn't that beeping noise indicate there's something wrong with your brake system? If it does, you need to check for any leaks.

Reluctor rings or abs sensors would be my first guess.

I will check this tonight.

I haven't felt any weakness when braking so far but the brake lines are about 19 years old at this point.

I'll google the reluctor rings. I am a novice in regard to mechanic work. Is this something quick and easy to replace or do I need to remove the drive shaft?
