Check engine and VSC light

Check engine and VSC light
When I pulled out of the driveway this morning, I noticed water under my car. After driving about 20 miles the check engine and VSP light came on. I drive about 26 miles to and from work everyday. Is it safe to drive until I have time to take it in or should I get it to a mechanic ASAP?
