First time trying to change O2 sensor (P0155)

First time trying to change O2 sensor (P0155)

First timer here and need some advice.
Got code P0155, with CL and VSC lights on
I located bank 1 sensor 1 (I think). With the hood open, it is straight in front of me pointing towards driver side. Between engine and radiator fans.
Removed and unplugged the sensor. Installed a new one.

Same lights remain on in car.

What should I try next?

Did you clear the codes after you installed the sensor?

You changed Bank 2 Sensor 1 (which is correct for that code). What brand sensor did you use? Existing code(s) cleared like owenstraw asked?

Bank1 is the engine side towards the firewall ... away from the front/radiator. More details are in the sticky ... having problems start here.

Per cargu07, two wrongs made it right. Double check the code and explanation of codes.
