Intermittent electrical ac, temp gage, MPG
Anyone ever heard of this...
2002 RX300 -- simultaneously temp gauge pegs low, A/C controls become non-responsive, and the MPG displays 100 MPG. Obviously electrical, seems random. Doesn't correlate with heat or cold temp changes, works fine for days then symptoms reappear. Any thoughts out there?

I had that very same thing happen a couple months back. We were driving in a pouring thunderstorm when it happened. Once it dried out overnight, it went away and has not returned. I am assuming perhaps the sunroof drains are clogged, directing water into places it shouldn't be. If anyone else has experienced this, I would love to hear about it.

well, checked sunroof drains and caulking and nothing remarkable that looks like a leak. New problem appeared with windows that temporarily become inoperable as well. A/C shuts down, engine coolant temp pegs low and windows don't operate. Nice combination in the S FL heat. Looking for a common electrical connection that may be loose but doesnt seem to be related to road vibration or speed bumps. Any other ideas? Thanks!
