Hi! My 2001 Lexus Subwoofer is busted. I was going to buy an OEM model off of ebay and replace it. I have unscrewed the sub box from the front and back of the passenger seat. It is now loose but I can't pull it out from under the seat and don't know how to get it out. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hello, I plan on upgrading the subs on my car as well because it seems to bottom out on any real bass at high volume.. I was thinking of just bypassing the existing subs and putting a small box in the trunk or something with an amp.

But to solve your issue, i'm fairly new with this car and did not know the subs were situated under the seat but it would seem like you would have to remove the seat bolts to gain access to that area. At quick glance it does not seem like a great deal of work just four bolts. Could you provide any pictures? Also are you aware of any 3rd party companies that make high quality woofers for the interior of the car.. I may just try to go your route and not put a box in the back of this car.
