Default Timing Belt AND Tensioner?

My car has just over 200k miles on it and to my knowledge has never had the timing belt replaced. I just became aware that this was an issue on this particular car (it's new-ish to me) so I'm researching now places to get this done. I understand that I'm on borrowed time right now so no need to flame me for not doing it sooner.
From what I've read I see that people recommend replacing the water pump at the same time because of the proximity to the timing belt and difficulty of access, that makes sense. Should I also get the tensioner replaced? One of the places that quoted me just the timing belt also quoted roughly $400 more to also replace the tensioner, is that fairly accurate? Does it necessitate that much of an increase in cost? That increase in cost does not include cost of the part.
Thanks in advance.

Find a different installer. 400 additional to replace a tensioner is robbery. Everything you need including a water pump is around 200 in parts. At 200k miles the tensioner should be replaced as well rather than compressed and reused and not hard at all to install, its only 2 bolts.
