Rx300- heard a loud pop from under car while driving ....
Car then died after i got on side of highway and won't turn over now. Been having trouble with back plugs and coils. Any help would be appreciated...I dont have any codes as of now and no reader as well.

Thank you....after looking over the forums I think it may be the timing belt, going to look at that before I bring it in. I like being a little ahead of them when I bring in. Its weird that I went from MN to FL and back with no problems but after 1 week back it started bogging down almost had to floor it to go up hills.

we hope it isn't a timing belt snap. The engine is an interference engine. Your mechanic should be able to line the timing up and do a leakdown test or use a visual scope into the cylinders to determine if the valves have crashed. Best of luck. Keep us updated on how it turns out.

Can yo explain "won't turn over"? Turn over normally means the crank shaft is unable to make at least one complete rotation.
