Default Need help with; Ignition Cylinder Removal,

I had trouble with my 99 RX300, couldn't turn the key at all, read online that giving it a few light taps should un-seize it a bit
It did and now I think I rigged the anti theft because the starter keeps cranking but won't turn over Took off the surrounding pieces but I was stumped on how to move further
144K on it

When you say 'won't turn over' you mean despite the fact that the starter has engaged and is rotating the motor, it won't run, correct?

I had to have the ignition cylinder and lock replaced on my 1999 RX300; it is not something you can do yourself. Yes, you have obviously disturbed the immobilizer sensor. Send me a message with your email address and I will send you a picture. Not able to upload it to Club Lexus for some reason.

If the black & clear trim piece (hanging piece on bottom right of your photo) isn't on the ignition switch, the car will never start. It'll crank and crank, but you need that trim piece sitting on the ignition switch to fire up.
