goodbye to the first gen
Well; sad to say; but its official. Ive said goodbye to my 99 rx300 as of black friday(week ago this past friday). I had no choice but to say goodbye to it because of the fact that it would have required 3000-5000 dollars in repairs; because of the fact that the awd transfer case was leaking fluid and the transmission was starting to go as there was a very substantial whining sound coming from the 1st gear telling that it was on its way out at any point. So; it was a good reliable basic rx300 that served me well for not quite 2 years. So if anyone wants to know where i will be I will be posting in the 2007 gen forums as I picked up a 2007 rx350 in excellent shape.
