Default It's with mixed feelings I say farewell to the RX300

The time has come to send the RX on it's way. Since I've started commuting between Milwaukee and Chicago on a daily basis, I need a car that does better in the fuel use colum. I decided on the Hyundai Veloster turbo R Type. The warranty was the deciding factor. No one else offers that kind of warranty on a new car.

I'm sure I'll hear comments about not buying a Corolla S, but I wanted something that would be unique and fun to drive. So, I went with the R Type with the 6 speed manual. I drove the Fiesta ST and the Focus ST, and they were both decent cars, but the VT offered more for less money. Not to mention the warranty..

I plan on keeping the LS for many years to come and I'll no doubt replace it with another.

Thanks to Salimshah and Lexmex for their unending knowledge of these cars. I would not have been able to do some of the jobs on the car without your insight.

That Veloster is one cool car. Just because you sold the RX, still do drop in and let us know how things are going.

We will certainly miss you and the only way you can mitigate this is by dropping in occasionally.

At the end vehicles are machines and warranty should be a big factor in our choice.

Thank you for the kind words and taking my name in the same breath with Lexmex. It is the level of maturity and exchange that makes this Forum very different from other car forums. This is certainly not account of me, but ALL members who post here.

Congrats on the new car. I'll reserve my comments on the Hyundai!
