Is there grime in the u-hook (above the shoulder)? Get a velcro strip (small nylon hooks) and run it through the u-slot to scrub the u-hook.

Never thought of doing that, I used carpet cleaner on mine and it was a pain with a microfiber cloth but it worked.

Its a TSB for early RX models.

if the slot is too wide, the belt can fold over and get caught so the opening is narrow.

I have a 3/4" wide velcro strap to gather the electric cord on a drill machine (almost like wrist band) and is just perfect for this purpose.
