Hello,

I've found lots of great info on this site and finally got around to joining!

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I have a 2001 RX300 and a few months ago the console started making this 'growling' sound. It might be that there is a servo with a flap or something that is stuck but it's driving me nuts. I shot a little video of it so you can hear what i'm talking about (and know that i'm not crazy!).

Pull the glove box and watch the servos when it's making the sound. If it's a servo (pretty good chance it is) you will be able to see it moving around and be able to touch it to feel it.
