Unhappy Knock sensor nightmare

here is my problem I have a 99 rx 300 I had the codes scanned and both knock sensors are reading bad. But I cannot find the right knock sensor everyone I buy or look at does not have the right plug on it for the wires any help would be grateful

Need your VIN or at least build date. OE only on these parts. Probably want to replace the wiring sub harness while you are in there too (assuming it's replaceable on the early cars).


89615-12040 (01/1998 - 07/1999)
89615-12090 (08/1999 - )

Take your vin number to the dealer part store. You dont have to buy from them (although I would say you should).

Default Knock sensors at good price

Use the part numbers given by the threads above to search for sellers on eBay. I got Denso OE brand sensors for about $100.00 for two. Have proven to be excellent. My vehicle is also a 1999 RX300.

As best I can tell you want 89615-12040 x2 for the sensors and 82219-07010 for the harness.

Try to double check that harness # though. Not 100% sure on that one.
