Hi, I want to do a voltage drop test between the Alternator B+ terminal and positive post of battery. It's a check of this wires condition. The alternator has what looks like a black cap protecting the bolt threads. How is this cap removed ? Don't want to break it. Thanks, Dan

 

pry it off carefully with a screwdriver.
