Default Can an exhaust leak trigger a code 1133?

Don't want to order the sensor if there might be another explanation for an 1133; thoughts?

I know you are chasing a CEL, but please do not underestimate the problems related to exhaust leak.

Carbon monoxide is a silent killer. This weekend on NPR some one talked about a near death experience due to exhaust leak.

I would place higher priority on fixing the leak over fixing CEL.

I don't know that I have a leak, nor do I suspect that I have one; I just don't want to spend the time and money changing out the rear bank A/F sensor if I'm not confident that a worn-out sensor is the cause of the code.

My bad, I misunderstood your post.

None of the codes mean a problem with the sensor. We generally swap out the sensor and the most of the time the problem goes away.

My recommendation is to use OEM sensor only.
