Default RX300 Key Issues

I have a 2003 Lexus RX300 with some crazy things going on with my driver's side key lock. The manual key lock will NOT unlock the car unless I turn the key and pull the door handle at the same time and then the alarm goes off! I have to turn it off with my keyless entry master key (which starts and has full keyless capability). This issue happens with all of my keys valet key, and master key will cause the alarm to go off! Now for the weird part. If I run to the passenger side and use the keys to unlock the passenger door everything works perfectly and all the doors unlock. Please help me determine how to proceed fixing this. Thanks!

I think you will have to pull the door panel off and eyeball the lock actuator rods to see the problem. I suspect there is a small plastic piece that connects the swinging arm of the door lock to the plunger relay rod that has failed. I bet that what should be a round hole is oval from wear. I think if you take the part to the parts store on the HELP! aisle you will find a match in a pack on J-hooks of assorted door lock parts.

Thanks for the assistance, I seriously doubt this part would wear because I hardly ever use my key manually, but when I did my door actuators could I have connected the rod improperly?
