we have a 2002 RX 300 with 117M miles ...have started hearing a clunk when going into reverse...does't happen all the time but still worries me...oh and there is a shimmy when driving from 30-40 mph then drives out of it...the transmission shifts good in all gears too...any ideas of what this could mean...transmission,wheel bearing etc...thanks for your help in advance co I know this form is great for rx owners

 

Check the tire balance to remedy the shimmy.

Check engine mounts & tranny mount in hopes that it is the cause of your clunk.
