My blower starts up when I turn on the car, but then it peters out and shuts off. Could it be anything other than a bad motor?

 

Run direct 12v over to it and see what it does.

 

ECU sends a control voltage to blower speed control module and to the display. Do you see the display bars move as you turn the speed **** while the blower does not speed up.down? If yes then the blower module is out. We have seen them go out around 130k miles or so (nothing to do with actual milage, but it is an estimate to hrs of use).
