Default New member needs some guidance

Hello to all the great guys at the Lexus club. I finally made the leap and joined the club but I have been following you guys for over a year and can not say enough good things about the helpful lot you guys are.

I do need to get some great guidance from the group and will start to add my own experiences from this point.

Does anyone know if the Nakamichi stereo components are compatable with the Pioneer stereo components. My stereo is not making music anymore and the only thread that I followed on this was disconnecting the TMUT, which did not work. I have found a RX with the Nakamichi stereo and was wondering if I could swap out the components.

Really love the support at this site. Congrats guys

Wish I could help you but I am electronics illiterate. I'll do some searching for you though...

Great thread Hypervish. So if I understand the comments right, you can swap out the radio/ head units but amp, speakers etc are a "no go". I am not sure which component is causing my problem, the head, the display, the changer or the amp. The stereo use to work and then worked intermittently and it seemed to be on days that were cold. As soon as the summer arrived.....dead silence but the display showed everything operating as usual. The LAN Diagnostics for the stereo indicate "no sound" from all of the LAN components, so it is blaming all the LAN members for the issue???? Thanks for help guys and let me know if you have any other good ideas on how to get the tunes back in my drives, I really miss them.
