Need child car seat to fit RX300
Hello,
I will be shopping for a convertible child car seat to fit in the center of the back seat. I purchased the Britax Roundabout, but was told that its base is too wide for the center position and thus it would have to be installed on one of the window seats.
Does anybody know which brand/model car seats fit in the center position?
Thanks!

Hi,
I put in a britax seat in the middle position. I do not remenber the model name, but it was for children 1 to 4 years old. There was no problem with the middle position. I did attach the tether strap to the two side latch hooks on the back of the seats since the RX does not have a middle one.
The seat is now on the side position, since I now have two toddler seats.

We installed a Britax Roundabout in the center position as well without any problems. With correct installation, the middle position is safer and allows for two rear passengers as well. Who told you the base is too wide? You need to apply downward pressure (kneel or sit on it) as you lock the seat into place with the belt.
