Can someone post a detailed list on how to remove the OEM airbag and steering wheel on a 1999 RX300, then reattach the same airbag and another steering wheel? I am looking at the wooden wheel on http://www.lexus-parts.com/partdetai...bCategoryID=20 . They say it's custom-made to your model year, and the picture shows it with a 1999-2000 airbag. I just want to know what is involved in this process, and if my warranty will be voided by doing this mod.

 

FWI, that airbag is a file-photo of American Stitches. In other words, Sewell probably has them made by American Stitches just as you can. Try contacting them directly for a better price.

Also, I can tell you how to remove the airbag if you are comfortable doing it, but have no time to write it up right now. PM me and I'll get back to you.
