Hesitation When Idling?
I'm thinking about buying a 1st gen RX300 I found on craigslist. I'm not sure what year it is, but it has 174k miles and they're asking $6,000. But in the description it says "The car runs great other than a little hesitation when idling" does anyone know what it could be? Is this going to turn into a big expensive problem or is it a cheap fix? The front bumper has a little damage from sliding into a fence post but I doubt that could be causing the problem. Should I stay away from this car? Thanks

Welcome to the Club.
I have a hunch that sounds like the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve). That's easy to clean out, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx3...-write-up.html
However, see if you get any kind of hestiation while driving it.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I hope it is the IACV, it looks pretty easy to clean. But I'll see how it drives. And as far as the year, I thought it would be an older one but I wasn't sure.
