Anybody have the grey ones installed that they can pop some pics up on?

Not sure I like the brown (aka: "oak")...

Thanks Daddy-O!

I wonder how the gray mats would look on the tan carpeting?

those are pretty nice. i like the lexus emblems ...i have the husky floor mats and i love them. you could spill a big gulp on them and they will hold all the fluid.

You didn't quote my entire paragraph...

"Even with the OEM carpet mats there, the retention clip on the driver's side still fits through both mats. "

Please note the first picture of the driver's side that I attached shows the retention clip in the hole of the mat. These mats also are studded on the bottom for grip, as are the OEM carpet mats.

Here's a close-up of that shot.
1. Intent of not providing the full quote was to be brief.. no intent of misleading readers.

2. I did not observe both mats hooked in. {Hook is nice Lexus thing, many cars/suvs/trucks do not have them}

3. All products have some sort of disclaimers and I was presenting one possible reason. Here is another one, there is a minimum distance that a brake pedal must maintain (when brake is applied and held) between the top of the carpet and bottom of the pedal. [non scientific way to measure ... stick your other toe under the pedal and it should freely pass].

I hope no offence was taken as none was intended.

salimshah,

You are a most valued member of this forum and I hope no
offense was taken by my reply. I just wanted to insure that
people were aware that both mats work with the retention
clip. I actually received an additional retention clip with the
new mats. I tossed it in the glovebox.

Sorry guys, but unless you got the Husky Liners for your Rex, you don't know what TRUE all weather protection is for your Rex. The rear mat liner runs the entire length of the 2nd row... 2 years later and one very destructive 5 year old, and my carpets still look new.

These liners literally catch anything and everything... I only have to vaccuum the carpet maybe once a year. I knew these things were so good (from previous owners) that I ordered them before I took delivery of the vehicle.

Here, I took Daddy-O's pictures and edited them to give you an idea of grey on tan. It's Sunday, I have a little time on my hands...yay!
