Hey all,

Sorry to ask this, but I don't have an owners manual yet for my 99 RX. I noticed a few days ago a lihgt come on on the cluster. Its right under the tach, and is a yellow light. Looks like the vehicle, with what looks like lines coming from the rear taillights. After I cut the RX off and recranked it wnet off and I have not seen it since. Just wondering right off hand what it is.

Not sure but if it looks like a "Slippery When Wet" road sign it might mean VSC/Traction Control

If you need the manual let me know amybe I can photocopy pages off my 2001 manual

 

Well, actually the light looks like a mini version of the vehicle from a top view. And has lines coming from the taillights like they are shining or something.

 

It's the Rear light failure warning light.

Wait til dark or at least dusk...Go to a shopping center and back up to a plate glass window.

Turn on your lights. Step on the brake and drop it in reverse.

Check all your lights in your rearview mirror.

Maybe it's nothing...possibly a loose connection, maybe nothing.
