I was wondering what would be the best sound system setup in an rx. I saw a setup a while back with a black rx with a clean setup in the trunk. I am looking to do something similar without losing access to the spare and it has to look clean and near stock. Can you guys help me out?

 

what are you looking to get out of the system? what kind of music do you listen to?

I think yours was one of the ones I took a look at. There was one with a black interior and the it had a custom box that was black and chrome. It looked clean. I think yours is cool too. Are there any pics of a finished product? also how much would the ultimate sound system cost for this type of car? I listen to everything, so I need a system that can handle everything.

 

that black interior setup is clean and nice.....but you will lose a lot of cargo space with that kind of setup. if you have no need to fold the seat down and do not need muck cargo area that is the way to go.

now as far as an ultimate setup....that is all subjective, depends on what you want out of the setup. you want something loud? clean, boomy, noisey, lots of spl, or more sound quality?

how much room are you prepared to lose?

how much money are you prepared to spend?

hom much time can you go without your rx?

are you prepared to have someone hack your interior up?

these questions need to be answered before you can narrow down YOUR ultimate setup.....the reason being is your ultimate setup will be different from what I or someone else would consider the ultimate setup.

 

what do YOU want out of the system?
Right now the stock system has a subwoofer under the front seat. I like it becuase it provides a nice vibration (girls like the vibration by the way.) I want to increase that and provide that sort of feeling throughout the car. It has to sound clean since I listen to a variety of music and the system cannot just be tuned to just rap or something.

Least amount possible

The least amount of $ possible.

hom much time can you go without your rx?
Not long at all.

are you prepared to have someone hack your interior up?
That is one thing I don't want. The whole interior being ripped apart.

 

One thing that comes to mind is the Infinity Basslink. Try searching the threads there was alot of info on those a few weeks back.
