RX300 Engine fault light plus VSC light on for 24 months
My 2003 RX300 has had the same fault going for over 2 years. Initially I paid for a valve change and once sorted light came back on after 24 hours. I'm now having another valve done at £600 at a Lexus dealership. It's never affected performance thus the reason I chose to continue driving this for about 2 years now.

My RX300 year 2002 had the CEL, TRAC OFF, and VSC lights come on last night. The codes are P0300, P0301, P0303, P0305, and P1349. what is likely the issue & the repair needed? I want to make sure when the shop calls me later today that I get the correct info because they have already irritated me today by saying to bring it in (after I gave them the codes) bc I needed a tune up & they could also do the repair, and then when I called after they had my car for 5 hours they said "we can't fix because we don't have an electronic technician or the equipment here." They had yet to call to tell me this and now it is pushing time to get it fixed at another location. Sorry for the soapbox, I just want to make sure the info they give is remotely accurate. Thanks in advance!

These errors are driving me crazy. I had all of the sensors and ecu checked and everything is fine. the lights went off for a while but came back after a couple of months. Next step is a smoke test. Anyone have any luck with this?

2001 RX300 with VSC and CEL code P0128
Any advice on how to diagnose code P0128? I was expecting this to be a loose hose by the air box or sensor. Not sure how to proceed since this code seems to be linked to coolant?
Anyone else had this?
Thanks.

P0128
P0128 means simply the engine took too long to warm up. Typically means the thermostat is stuck in the open position... this can also affect the heater efficiency.. Replacing the thermostat and gasket, and properly bleeding the system w/ fresh antifreeze solves this issue. be safe Bobby D., ASE Master Auto Technician
