I'm getting code p0500, it says it's a transmission speed sensor. So, where should I start to troubleshoot?

Well, Salim is usually a bit more gracious than that but a quick search did turn up a few threads...

Both you and Salim are very helpful in this forum so allow me to search it for you!

I searched it before I posted but didn't find much. I reset it for now, I'll just wait and see if it comes back.
Carver: Thank's for the kind words! Much appreciated!

There are two speed sensors. Some members have swapped them to see if the codes change....Both are located on the top of the transmission under the battery and air box.

Sorry for the let down. In order to keep matrimonial harmony, I had to leave abruptly and the only thing on my mind was ... I had seen the discussion thread on speed sensor.

If you find debris, drop the pan check filter etc.
