Had a new windshield installed a year ago. Went out to the car the other day and found the interior rear view mirror hanging down. The metal bracket was still securely fastened to the windshield. Looks like the windshield repair shop lost some parts out of the bracket that attaches to the mirror and goes in the bracket on the windshield. (May be some ball bearings from what I've researched, but I don't know.)

They shop had glued/siliconed the mirror to the mounting bracket, but it finally failed.

Question is: Where can I get the bracket that the mirror attaches to? The set screw (torx) is still there, but since some of the pieces are missing, there isn't anyway to attach it back to the mounting bracket. Again, I don't need the metal-type mounting bracket that glues to the windshield. I need the intermediate bracket that attaches the mirror itself to the bracket on the windshield. (Or, at least, I need the parts (ball bearings?) that make it all work.

or ebay or bone yard. Not sure what the differences are in the years and auto dimming vs no dimming, there were some changes for 1999.
