Default Fault code P1155

Guys,
I'm in the UK and parts are hard to get and very costly.

I have the 1155 fault code. I've read every post in the forum(i think!) so im happy with what i need and what to do.

The part is Toyota/Lexus 89467-48011 ~ £230

or denso 234-9009

so i order this part from ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...%3DI%26otn%3D1

part arrived today it has no denso stamp or part numer etched on it.

The only part number appears to be on the box DOX-0243.

Is this the correct part? possibly fake? I dont know what to think.

any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

This is what I found by doing an internet search for the Lambda part number you listed. It looks like the UK brands the parts with the Lambda numbers with the part coming from Denso. The website I located is listed below. I hope this helps as it appears to be the same part.

Janitor, I think you have probably ordered the correct part - at least I hope so as I have done the same and ordered DOX-0243 from sparkplugs.co.uk. Without seeing your post my research showed on the U.S. lexus forums and parts sites, Denso part No 234-9009 is often mentioned as a replacement for Lexus part 89467-48011 (which is stamped on the part in my car) along with Toyota part 89467-41011 and 89467- 41021. These in turn overlap with DOX-0243 which is cited as a replacement for Toyota part 89467-41011 and 89467- 41021. In essence DOX-0243 seems to be the Euro equivalent of 234-9009.

When I have received and fitted it, I'll update as to whether my VSC and CEL lights disappear and thus resolve the apparent prob which is error code P1135.

Any updates from your side - have you fitted it?

Been 3 weeks now since I fitted the DOX-0243 no cel or VSC lights since. All appears resolved!

thejanitor,

Have you replaced your sensor? If you have has the replacement solved your problem?
