tinting:
i know other people have got the tintin job done nice, but i saw your two rx's on the gallery and you guys seem to have matched that back windows well. I just got my car tinted, and I told the guys there that having all the windows blend and match as well as possible. But that's not how they did it.

So i'm having them redo it and I was wonderin how they did your cars? Did any of you double tint the front windows?? any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated!!!

I was wondering if anyone has Hella hid's. Many of the hid oem's for cars use the philip's ballast, but I heard alot of them use the Hella lamp. Can anyone give me some info or suggestions about which would be good (hella v. philips) ??

 

use LLUMAR film, they have a reflective film that matches perfect.

 

For those of you RX owners who've managed to match the
front windows with the rear tint...I've heard people mention
issues regarding reflections of the AC vents interfering with
viewing the side mirrors.

Have you experienced any problems with this application and
reflections of the cabin on the front side windows? or have
these folks just installed the tint film backwards?

 

nope, no reflections for me, works great, just duller then the rear windows when you look out cuz the rear ones are the window it self. very nice tho. i think its LLUMAR film for the tint but i'm not postive, i gave it to my dealer who gave it to a shop to do for me. i can ask next time i'm at the dealer.

As for the HIDS, my other friend has hids and uses hella ballast, i dunno, i guess they are all the same. as long as they are hella, phillips, or i forgot that other companys hid that cost like 1500 around there... but ya, any would do
