[B]can i put the oem navigation in my 99 rx300 or can i take the head set from the 01 dash will it fit my 99. any ideas and is the ac control connected with the radio or can i just cut that out and put a aftermarket one. Another question can i change my steering wheel and shiffter to the 01 model??[/B]

 

search the fourms...i personally have done a navigation retrofit in my 2002 with a gen 4 computer upgrade. look for lexusaudio he hooked me up. Basically to answer your question you can swap out the head unit and the AC and radio are the same unit. You will also need a Nav antenna and a DVD computer that goes in the trunk area. Additionally lexusaudio will have to build you a custom harness to connect your oem wires to nav wires.

Total comes about to somewhere like 1500-1600...dont remember anymore.
