Start by cleaning MAF. [use search]. Spraying in the cavity is fine with approved cleaner, but to do not stick anything in area you can not see. Clean the diode too.
Let the thing dry completely before putting it back together. Have the CEl codes rest/cleared out and drive a bit. Hopefully every thing will clear out. If the light comes back have it re-read and post.
Has any thing been done recently in the engine bay?

You might have had some bad fuel as those P03xx codes are misfires, but since they were pending it indicates they were temporary, also possibility of some injector blockage. I'd pull the battery cable and then drive and see if same issue arises (don't just reset with OBD2 scanner in this case).

thank you ,especially, lexmex; love your posts, cleaned MAF sensor, and also replaced O ring on sensor,as it seemed loose, and could hear slight air leak around area, it sounds better already, no misfire, and driving normally on test run. thank you forum friends for all your help..

Where did you find the gasket for the MAF? My lexus dealer couldnt find the part number for it when I replaced the MAF. I'm still getting occasional P0171 (and can smell raw fuel in the exhaust.)
