i think youre right and that it doesnt have anything to do with a code but more in that the main piece doesnt fit in any other car, and pieces of the whole "stereo" are broken up so unless you took just about everything in the center console and the 6 disc changer from the glove box youre screwed

Hilarious indeed.I have not fund it yet ... have not looked through the manual.
Come to think of it, there can be other than code ... like serial link encoding for Lexus audio products. I like the thread starter 'think' it is a code.
