Default Sludge in the intake

Guys,

While doing some cleaning and maintenance on my RX 2000, I found "a honey like" sludge in the intake corrugate hose, on the left side of the throttle body. I cleaned and notice that there is a hose that connect to that area, that comes from bellow the intake manifold. Is that another PC valve? Is there any way to get rid of this hose and leave it open?

Thanks

Are you talking about the hose that connects to the plastic PCV valve on the passenger side of the throttle body, as I am having a tough time picturing what you are describing?
