Default Rx300 a/c problems

Recently my a/c stoped working i took it to a shop and the guy said that there was a small hole in the evaporator and that it would take about 6 months to loose all the charge.i dont trust that guy because my father in law took the car there and he dont know jack about cars anyways now the car blows cold air from the drivers side and hot air in the passengers side and sometimes hot on both can anyone help thanks

Sounds like the diverter door is out of position. One of the servos is acting up....there is a procedure for cleaning the servos....

If he doesn't know "jack", why did you take your car there? Not trying to be a wise-guy, just curious. Thanks and good-luck with your repair.

I don't know "Jack" either Artbuc- who is he? I don't think he took it there, his FIL did. I don't know if it is his FIL or the mechanic who doesn't know Jack but somebody aughta introduce them. That's quite a commute, don't 'ya think? At least that explains a little bit, for us curious souls. The picture is a lot clearer, 'cept we still don't know who doesn't know Jack! Have a good 4th, what's left of it!
