RX300 Horn Upgrade DIY?
Well i'm upgrading the horn that came with my RX300 because at my last oil change the horn got damaged when they were trying to remove the oil filter. Dont ask me how it happened, i was compensated for it though.
I bought the sport horns from PIAA and it comes as a pair. One with higher frequency and one slightly lower. In my vehicle i only see one horn by the radiator.
Where is the next horn located?
Do i put both horns at the front?
are there any DIY here for upgrading the horns?
please help!

i think the other horn is in the l/f fender well somewhere.but i would put the two horns together where the one by the radiator is now.simplicity if nothing else.and if your planning on using 3 or more horns together, you will need to put a higher amp fuse in.(not recommended to do that though)

You might have a problem powering two or three horns from the OEM horn wire. I'm surprised that the PIAA horns do not come with a relay. Aftermarket horn sets, like the Hella Supertone horns I had on a previous Lexus, often come with a relay that allows the horns to be powered from the car's battery, usually by connecting to a terminal on the underhood fuse block. When a relay of this type is used, the OEM horn wire provides only a triggering signal to the relay. A set up like this allows the horns to get full power. Otherwise, they can sound kind of wimpy.
