Question Anti lock Brake Issue

Hi guys ,Im new to the Forum , I have (or rather my Wife ) has a 2000 lexus RX300, lately its anti lock brake system seems to be activating on dry roads . i had the front brakes done last year , rotors and all , just 3 days ago had rear brakes done ,rotors and all , and had 4 NEW tires put on , the dealer thought that would solve the problem . not so. it still does the pulsation on the pedal ,and the noise common with the antilock braking . When i first got the car as a Certified pre Owned, it had this problem and they said an Axle on the left rear was cracked causing the problem . could this happen again? I took the Extended Warrenty so theyre covered , but is this common?
any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated .

Thank You
TruckerGuy

Welcome to the Club.

Yes, a cracked or bent axle can cause this particular issue. Sometimes it can be the wheel sensors themselves, but we've had at least on person from my memory who had a bent front axle and that ended up being the issue there. We have some other people who have even cleaned off sensors trying to solve the problem with nothing wrong to any of the axles and they still have the problem. The ABS issue is not common, but has affected a few of the members of this forum.
