nothing odd about the engine sound it actually sounds pretty good you just feel the jerk as you are lifting off . The guys at Toyota increased the fuel into injectors from .1 to 1 and the misfire dissapeared completely even the jerk is better but still there

If they increased the amount of fuel in there, you might be running slightly rich. What you could do is remove the air filter temporarily from the big black airbox on the right side of the engine bay (when you are facing it) and see if the increased air flow helps better equalized the air-to-fuel ratio.

I got jerking over this weekend when I went down to Key Largo (where it really is at sea level) and all that air through my intake system caused a high idle, even after I disconnected the custom lower air ram intake system. Had to reset the battery when I got back to Miami just to deal with it.

well the plugs were changed by a toyota dealer and the problem is still there. He said he did a pressure test and its fine but plugs are running very lean. He managed to read it and got no faults(WEIRD!). Anyhow he suspects sensors now

Only other things that come to mind are an issue with the transmission and its fluid. Is your vehicle AWD?

Can you believe it two injectors were clogged got stripped and and got cleaned.Seems like this guy from ex Toyota was on right track. Car running so sweet now but still majorly worried about that fuse melting. Ive replaced lots of things but i dont know if it will be easy to find the electrical problem. Complicated issue though the guy is suspecting the battery but i really doubt it cause the second melt happened on a new battery. Any ideas guys?(Its a big 120 Amp fuse for the alternator)

Well you could try taking the battery out of one vehicle and putting it in yours to test it out. There might also be some issue with your ground wires (maybe one that is worn or came loose). A suspicion I also have on this electrical problem is that there is some thing along the path of this wire to this fuse that could be the issue and not be apparent. I had something not to long ago with my transmission that was related to a ground wire and also a fuse, but was due to some paint that had gotten on one of the vehicle speed sensors when we reinstalled the transmission last December. I wish I had more time to investigate the full path of that particular fuse to help.

Well, one thing they can do is something called a load test on the battery. This is just an example of one I found on the net, http://www.2carpros.com/how_to/battery.htm

The other week the battery on my girlfriend's Expedition appeared to me to be dead, despite charging, and a load test at a local auto store here confirmed the battery's life had ceased.

will give that a bash lex although i remember somene saying before that if the car was jump started with a battery put wrong way around that the battery could be causing current problems afterwards even though its charging and appears to be working.

Well the new battery solved everything. Fuses are not melting the car is running sweet i took my girl for a ride yesterday and the car is going really really well. Im so happy finally!!!!! thanks for all the help and advice everybody especcialy Lexmex.

The only small issue left is when the car is cold in the morning there is no power in the passenger seat window and back two windows. Once i drive it for a while it starts working. This is a strange problem though as i thought first it could be a fuse but then it wouldnt start working again? any ideas?

I had a similar issue with the center console blue screen information display because sometimes, recently, I'd be so involved in my work that I wouldn't go out for a few days. I also noticed this after I had done transmission work last December back in Mexico and we put the battery back in. Basically the rest of the console except the time would not work. I am not quite an electrical genius (there are others on this board), but I saw this situation rectify itself rather quickly after using my vehicle more often. This also could be a contact issue with metal contracting while cold and then expanding while warm. My father had such an issue with his speakers in his old 190E Mercedes. What I'd do is just give it a bit of time and then see how it goes.
